These two stones are dark, fine-grained coastal rock — likely basalt or diabase — laced with pale feldspar that runs through them like frost on glass. Hand-collected from the beaches of Plymouth, Massachusetts, each piece is raw and untumbled, showing its true character: a deep, near-black base shot through with creamy mineral veining, the feldspar pooling and spreading like icing over stone. No two are alike. No polish needed.
